Cambridge IGCSE Spanish (0530) shares its structure with Cambridge IGCSE French (0520). When we add Spanish content, the practice experience will look like this:

5-task Role Play (~4 minutes, 10 marks). The AI examiner stays in role and responds in Spanish.
Topic Conversation 1 (~4 minutes, 15 marks). Free Spanish conversation on a chosen theme.
Topic Conversation 2 (~4 minutes, 15 marks). A second theme, scored separately.
10-minute preparation phase before the exam, just like the real thing.
No Photo Card, no Reading Aloud — IGCSE doesn't use those components.
Single tier (no Foundation/Higher), holistic scoring out of 40.
Same six-skill scoring (pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, fluency, interaction, confidence) plus a predicted grade.

Not yet. Cambridge IGCSE Spanish (specification 0530) is on the Tête-à-Tête roadmap but isn't available yet. Today we cover AQA Spanish (8692) and Edexcel Spanish (1SP1), both with full real-time voice AI practice. What's on the Cambridge IGCSE Spanish speaking exam?

Cambridge IGCSE Spanish (0530) follows the same speaking structure as Cambridge IGCSE French (0520): a 5-task Role Play (~4 minutes, 10 marks) followed by two Topic Conversations (~4 minutes each, 30 marks total split between communication and quality of language). There's a 10-minute preparation phase. No Photo Card and no Reading Aloud — IGCSE doesn't use those components. It's a single-tier exam, scored holistically out of 40 marks total.
